Siloam Mission here sent out a
plea for help today. They've been serving way more meals than usual to Winnipeg's homeless and they're super low on supplies. We're going to be heading over there in the morning with some stuff. If you'd like to send anything along, just get it to our place before 8.30 am tomorrow morning. Thanks!

Friday Smile
Have you heard about the Pepsi Refresh Everything promotion? My guess is YES, unless you live under a rock. Something you might not know is that my friend Amy - who works at UGM in Vancouver - has a project in the running to receive $100k in funding.
In order to get the money, they need to get the most votes. It would mean so much to me if you would
go to the website right now and vote. It seriously only takes 30 seconds the first time - and when you go back every day to vote again (hint hint) it's a three second process... Three seconds that could help change the lives of Vancouver's homeless.

Now, why is this my Friday Smile? If you all knew Amy, you'd understand. She cares *so* much about the people she helps. If you could spend ten minutes with her, you'd want to do everything you can to help her do what she does with UGM. And you'd be blown away at the complexity of this person who is one of the prettiest girls you've ever seen up close with the biggest heart you've ever had the pleasure of encountering. I obviously love her. And I'm obviously grateful to my friend Jason for finding her and convincing her to marry him so that we could be friends (hehe). I love that this is such a practical way for us to help her work from way out here in Winnipeg - and that's why I'm smiling.
Okay, so that was a nice story and all, but HAVE YOU VOTED YET? :P

Searching for a Speaker
Just throwing this out there...
I'm helping organize our MOMs Group this year, and we're looking for someone who'd be willing to come in a talk to us about better understanding our kids' personalities and temperaments (or even love languages) and how to adapt our parenting styles to be the best mommies possible for each of them.
If you can recommend someone who'd do a great job (and who'd be available on Thursday, September 30 for about an hour in the morning), please let me know! Thanks :)

Team Irma
Briony + I are signed up to participate in the MS Walk on Sunday, April 25.
I'll be walking alongside a group of friends in support of a wonderful woman named Irma Bergen. Irma is the mother-in-law of my good friend Melanie (and connected to our family in a list of other ways that tend to happen when you're from a small town like Niverville). It's scary how much MS can steal from a person, and how it affects an entire family. We need to find a cure. And I think it's super important to let these families know that they're surrounded by people who are walking alongside them.
I hope that you'll consider supporting our cause. As a member of Team Irma, I'm trying to raise $125 this month.

Wanted: Housewife for Hire
I'm also looking for any referrals you might have for a good, reliable - and preferably 'green' - house cleaning service.
We haven't made any decisions yet, we're just exploring our options... And as lame as I feel admitting that I can't do it all - I CAN'T DO IT ALL. So I would at least like to get an estimate so that we can make the best decision for our family.

Crazy Random Question
We're going to be looking for a few baby things to borrow while we're in BC this spring. Specifically, we'd really like to find a baby swing, an exersaucer, and a 'baby gym' floor mat with dangly toys.
