This Hits the Spot

From my Starbucks cup this afternoon (mmm... grande skinny cinnamon dolce latte...):

In a world where celebrity equals talent, and where make-believe is called reality, it is most important to have real love, truth, and stability in your life.

The above statement is not an opinion of Starbucks (c)

I find it ironic how the title of these words of wisdom are "The way I see it" and then Starbucks coveres it's prosterior. they don't even say anything offensive. To be honest, I'd really like to know if this quote is the opinion of Starbucks!

Au contraire... A coworker of mine discovered a little Starbucks gem on a cup last year - an incredibly offensive quote from a former dictator who's overseen the killing of hundreds and thousands of people. He still has it in his office, and it's been the subject of MUCH debate in a seriously Starbucks-worshipping office.
