Tears

I just booked an appointment for Briony's first-ever haircut. Then I hung up the phone and promptly burst into tears.

I have no idea how I'm going to handle sending her to Kindergarten.

With tears:)
When I took Geoff first to nursery school, the teacher assured me that he stopped crying as soon as I was out of sight.

I totally hear ya. I put off Palmer's 1st haircut for WAY too long, but then when I got his lock of hair to remember when he was making that leap into a different time of life it became one of my most precious possessions. Hoping it goes well for you and B!

I bawled my eyes out on Sarah's first day of Kindergarten. But it was a good kind of crying :)

btw I went private on my blog so if you're interested just let me know your email address. If you're not interested, that's ok too. No pressure.

Scarlett's first haircut was just the back - she had a weird rat tail thing going on. I think it was a nice way to ease into this big girl nonsense.

But seeing her in pigtails sitting on her potty?? Not sure I'm ready for this toddler business (then again, I wasn't ready for the baby stuff and we made it through!).
