Just Need To Get This Out Of My System

When you squeeze back into your pre-pregnancy jeans or your wedding dress, I DON'T F-ING WANT TO KNOW. In fact, nobody does. That is all.

We will resume our regular scheduled positive programming shortly.

Have no fear Lindsay, I'll never fit into my wedding dress again. Someday I hope to have the joy of having Trinity try it on and see her in it. That's good enough for me.

I probably will never fit into my wedding dress again either. Hope that makes you feel a little better!

I KNOW, right?!!! I loved reading this. Why didn't you put this one as your facebook status update?! LOL!

Sigh. Then again, if you're the one saying it, it makes you so happy, and I suppose there has to be room in the world for that...

Apparently, I'm not the only one...

I think the reason it bugs me so much is that it's only partially a personal accomplishment. Some of it is, for sure, especially if you've been working away at it and finally reach your goal. THAT'S AWESOME. (It's also PERSONAL, but that's another rant for another time.) But you can't tell me that a person who's wearing their pre-preggo jeans, prancing around town with their three week old baby *earned* that right through work and not genetics. THAT's my pet peeve.

Oops. Ranting again. Sorry :)

totally agree...I have been struggling with my baby weight forEVER! I don't think I'll ever be at the size I was before I first got pregnant, but, knowing that this body carried my kids (and is still carrying them :P) makes me feel okay with where I'm at...sort of :P

hehe - reason 8001 why baby before married rocks. I got married AFTER I had the baby, therefore I don't have a pre-baby wedding dress size to fit into. So it still fits.

The wardrobe I had before the baby AND the wedding dress, though? Whatever, MY WEDDING DRESS STILL FITS. hehe

oh, man, Lindsay, I know. SERIOUSLY. SOOOOOO annoying. I *could* brag about fitting into my wedding dress now, and how it's actually too BIG--but then I'd have to admit that it's because it's two sizes bigger than I would normally wear because I was four months' PREGNANT on my wedding day and had already gained 20 pounds!!!
